Artist Barbara Walker was born in Salisbury, England, although she now lives in the US. Her ability to capture the personality of her subjects stems from an intense love of animals and a mastery of anatomy learned through years of study. She began painting horses but expanded into dogs through the influence of her daughter-in-law who was involved in purebred dogs. Now she attends dog shows and sketches dogs there. Her paintings have been displayed at the AKC Museum of the Dog, St. Louis, Missouri, and hang in private collections on four continents. Bookmarks were originally painted in oil or watercolor. Each measures approx. 1" x 6" and is laminated using heavy duty plastic with a matte finish. Colors won't fade. These are perfect to use in your new dog books, or to give as gifts.
